Refund & Return Policy

At IHC Home Solutions, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we offer a hassle-free 30-day return policy. Please read the details below to understand our return and refund process.


Our 30-Day Return Policy

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return for most products purchased from our store.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet ALL of the following conditions:

Unused and unworn – Item must be in the same condition as received
Original packaging – Item must be in its original packaging with all accessories
Tags attached – All original tags and labels must be intact
Proof of purchase – You must provide your order number, invoice, or receipt
Pre-approved – Return request must be submitted and approved before shipping items back

Important: Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted and may not be returned to you.


How to Initiate a Return

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return

Step 2: Wait for Approval

Our team will review your request within 1-2 business days and notify you via email whether your return is approved.

Step 3: Ship the Item

Once approved, we will provide:

  • Return shipping instructions
  • Return address
  • Return authorization number (if applicable)

Shipping Responsibility:

  • Defective/Damaged items: We will provide a prepaid return shipping label
  • Change of mind returns: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs

Step 4: Pack Securely

  • Use original packaging when possible
  • Include all accessories, manuals, and free gifts
  • Secure the package to prevent damage during transit
  • Include your return authorization number

Step 5: Track Your Return

We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Keep your shipping receipt and tracking number until your refund is processed.


Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

Received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item? We sincerely apologize!

Immediate Action Required:

  1. Inspect your order upon delivery – Check for any damage or discrepancies
  2. Contact us immediately – Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery
  3. Provide evidence – Send clear photos of:
    • The damaged/defective item
    • Product packaging
    • Shipping box (if damaged)

Our Resolution Process:

  • Damaged items: Full refund or free replacement at your choice
  • Defective items: Free replacement or repair (if possible), or full refund
  • Wrong items: We'll send the correct item immediately and arrange free return pickup

No cost to you: We cover all shipping costs for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned for hygiene, safety, or customization reasons:

❌ Custom or personalized products (made to order items)
❌ Sale items or clearance products (marked as "Final Sale")
❌ Gift cards and vouchers
❌ Downloadable digital products
❌ Items marked as "Non-Returnable" on the product page

Special cases: If you receive a defective or damaged item from the above categories, please contact us for resolution.


Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. To exchange an item:

  1. Return the original item following our return process
  2. Receive your refund once the return is approved
  3. Place a new order for the item you want

This ensures you get the product you want without delays.


Refund Process

After We Receive Your Return:

Step 1: Inspection (2-3 business days)
We will inspect the returned item to verify it meets our return eligibility requirements.

Step 2: Approval Notification
You will receive an email confirming whether your refund has been approved or declined.

Step 3: Refund Processing
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method:

Credit/Debit Card 5-10 business days
UPI/Net Banking 3-7 business days
Wallet (Paytm, PhonePe, etc.) 2-5 business days

Note: The timeline begins after we approve your refund. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process and post the refund to your account.

Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may issue a partial refund:

  • Item returned without original packaging
  • Item shows signs of use or wear
  • Item missing accessories or components
  • Return received after 30-day window (at our discretion)

You will be notified if a partial refund applies before processing.


Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable (except for defective/damaged items)
  • Return shipping costs for "change of mind" returns are the customer's responsibility
  • Free shipping promotions: If your order qualified for free shipping and you return part of the order, shipping charges may be deducted from your refund

Cancellations

Before Shipment:

After Shipment:

Once shipped, you cannot cancel the order. You may refuse delivery or follow our standard return process once received.


International Returns

For customers outside India:

  • Contact us at anujapte.retail@gmail.com for international return authorization
  • International return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility (except for defective/damaged items)
  • Customs duties and taxes are non-refundable
  • Refund processing may take 10-15 business days after item is received

Restocking Fee

We do NOT charge restocking fees for standard returns. However, restocking fees may apply to:

  • Large or bulky items (you will be notified before purchase)
  • Special order items (marked on product page)

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund after the expected timeline:

  1. Check your bank account – Sometimes it takes time for banks to post refunds
  2. Contact your bank/card company – They may need additional processing time
  3. Check with your payment provider – For UPI/wallet refunds, check your transaction history
  4. Contact us – If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, email anujapte.retail@gmail.com with:
    • Order number
    • Return tracking number
    • Date of return approval

We will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.


Consumer Rights (India)

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. You have the right to:

  • Receive products that match their description
  • Receive products of satisfactory quality
  • Return defective products within the warranty period
